Could you please prove this video to be fake? And inform me as to why? It's haunting me, in a manner of speaking!

Think of it this way, the video was reversed (played in reverse mode) so he actually would be moving in the opposite direction in the original recording, then reversed it so it looks like he is being lifted instead of the other way around. It is purposely blurry so you can't see details. there may have even been wires to aid him in making the video.

Why would it be such bad condition with modern high quality cameras being so cheap? Even a cell phone camera would normally look better than that. Plus green screens are common, even for many YouTubers now so things can easily be faked when not live.

I don't know. What I realized by using logic is that IF anything like that was real and there was a ghost, spirit, etc., in order for it to affect someone it would have to be corporeal at the time. That would mean that it would have to have a physical presence at that time that I could also affect/harm.
I wouldn't be worried.
Plus many people fake stuff in order to get views. That is why there are so many prank videos, even mean pranks like someone dying or cheating. People do all kinds of stuff for views. I tend to be skeptical and consider someone's motivation for the content posted before making a decision about it.

They do have physical presence I believe, they just cannot be seen. You could punch them had they stood next to you, and they can harm you back. I don’t know if it’s real but ghosts or whatever used to live with us in a rental for a while and threw things around in the kitchen it was very weird more than super scary but it turn on things that weren’t plugged in everyone living there experienced it. The man who owned the house always made murder jokes.

Well, as with most videos like this, there are clues to suggest it’s faked.
First, we have to talk about “evidence” as opposed to “proof”. I can provide all the evidence in the world, but it’s on you to accept that evidence as proof of anything.
My first question is “Why is this guy recording himself sleeping?”. Without a reasonable answer to that question, it’s likely contrived. Also, why is a grown man sleeping in a child’s bed?
If he’s recording himself sleeping because he expects to capture this phenomenon in video, why does he freak out when he gets exactly what he expected? Seems hammed up, to me.
How did he “wake up” so quickly?
How did he fall asleep in the first place if such terrifying things were happening to him predictably enough to catch it on camera?
Why did he choose such a lousy camera if he wanted to prove something to skeptics?
Do you notice the blurry effects on the lower part of the screen? Those could be indicative of video editing or manipulation.
That’s a lot of “doesn’t make sense”. As they say, “If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it’s probably a duck.”

Though you do see his legs were covered by a sheet, so say there were strings attached, literally, the sheet would disable that theory.

You assume that if there are strings that they must be vertical while the subject is lying flat. They can be horizontal and the traction system at the end of the bed and over it. Also, his feet become exposed when he flips onto his belly. I’m also not convinced it’s necessarily strings. That’s possible, but it could also be other people in the room who were scrubbed from the published footage.
Also, why does he stay in bed at all? Wouldn’t your first instinct be to get out of bed and out of the room, and out of the building? Ell oh ell!

He did try to escape, evidently xD The camera wasn't there because he knew this would happen most likely. A lot of people place video cameras around their houses, including the bedroom. For whatever reason, usually It Is after experiencing unexplained activity in the perimeter, yes.

I saw another video like that a few months ago. These two guys were sleeping in beds almost next to each other. College dorms, I think, and one suddenly started rising slowly from the bed feet first and didn't wake up until he was almost standing on his head! The other guy never saw anything but heard the commotion when the other guy finally woke up and started yelling.
Question is, with the tech we have today, why the fuck is it they can't seem to make a video camera that shoots CLEAR FOOTAGE? Or, is it just that people can't afford anything better?

What about supposed security cameras, like in stores or the kind people have on their door bell, now or on the front or side of the house? What possible good is going to the expense of buying those and installing them when you CAN'T see WHO is doing whatever to your house and you can't even SEE the license plate on their car, let ALONE the NUMBERS on it? Video footage in store and bank robberies is NOTORIOUSLY bad!! If you're GONNA do it, do it right!!
