Keyword: COLOR TV's/ Black and white broadcasts date from 1947, and continued until about 1965, when they started getting the color TV broadcasting right. Even then, it was expensive to get Color TV in 1965, about $1000, (which in 1965 US Dollars, was a lot of money!)
