Much better then the agenda TV we are being spoon fed now! It's either breaking the edge being woke or yay another mixed race or lesbian couple commercial on TV! Disney is very overly woke! Really hate that the Olympics something that is showing the world together did drag and insulting a faith! They insulted women and half the world but it's ok! Men can do what ever they want! Bring back caring for women and family! Not boast about being self righteous for a worthless cause!

The people back then said "the good old times before TV." Before that it was "the good old times before radio." Before that it was "the good old times before vaudeville." Every old generation is going to complain about what the young generation is doing to move forward, but it still moves forward.

Probably the most interesting aspect to me is the rounded picture tube. Was this because the electron gun that created the image was easier to control in a circular motion? 🤔 And the wooden cabinet is definitely a thing of the past. Looks like they wanted the TV to be a striking piece of furniture rather than something purely functional. Again, probably a limitation of the technology, but interesting that it inspired such beautiful woodwork.

It was... grotesque. And it still is :D Make TV great again, please.
