Yes, it is. Hans Christian Andersen's masterpieces are masterpieces. Any artist can write a Disney-like story. The morals of the original are better than otherwise.

  Nah ariel will forever be my fave princess. I def prefer her. I saw a version similar to yours a while back and i was like wtf kinda ending 🤣 I was not a fan. I understood it because he was technically already taken but in the cartoon he was not, so fair game haha
