I have been a big harry potter fan ever since I was little, and I was wondering how many people are fans as well. And I have so many questions like: How did you get into HP? Do you prefer the Book's or Movies, why? What's your fav book\movie? Who is your fav character? How long have you liked HP?

If you aply the word fan loosely, yes. I watch first, third and sixth movie once or twice a year. The rest depends on my mood. I watched the movies and read the books when I was younger, so I rewatch my favorite movies. I prefer the movies. I felt Harry was more "I'm special" attitude in the books. Favorite movie is the third. The one with the werewolf. My favorite character is Snape. I think I have liked them since 2001 or 2002. Don't remember exactly.

One, thanks for answering all of the questions. Two, I do the same thing, I have seen all of them so many times. Also prisoner of azkaban is my fav movie out of them all (which is the third one), and I basically grew up on the harry potter movies since I was little, and it has taken me so many try's to gain the motivation to read all the book (I'm not a big reader when it comes novel's, but I love comics and manga)

Books, the books are much better.

The movies are decent, but so often they lack a huge amount.

I’m a fan. It’s hard to chose the books vs the movies on this one as there is good and bad in both. I’m not a fan of the replacement Dumbledore so much so that I cut him from the movies and made copies without him to watch. They are so much better! 😎 Some parts of the books make me cringe too. Generally they are both really lovely. Soul food.
