FFX because of the dynamic between Tidus and Yuna. Put simply and avoiding spoilers, their character development involves becoming more like each other, culminating in a powerful ending sequence.
There are a lot of other good things about the game (like the music and Auron), and there are plenty of weaknesses, too. I just think the two leads were handled exceptionally well.
Second favorite is 7. That is because it has an awesome story and gameplay and that Final Fantasy is the only Final Fantasy that I liked the main villain in.
Thank you for MHO
Ultimately, six (three in the US, for very stupid reasons). I have a very soft spot in my heart for the original, just because of the circumstances I was in when I played it, but ultimately six was the best. Sadly, the fancy tech and story beats of seven (which was also good, but lacked the connective punch of Phantasy Star IV, which came out a few years earlier) completely overshadowed it.
I've only play FF7 Remake so I can only choose that one which I loved anyways.
