Have you ever seen the King Tut Exhibit? Was it cool or boring?

How could King Tut ever be boring?

As I recall, it ended its tour of the US in like 1981, so I couldn't've seen it without a time machine, and if had one of those, I'd probably just go back and see the man himself. Knowing me, though, I'd probably let slip something about his upcoming murder, and how monotheism eventually caught on in a really, REALLY big way, kinda justifying his father's unpopular decisions, and seriously altering the flow of history.

King Tutankhamen could NEVER be boring.

I can't say that I've seen THE exhibit, but I did see some artifacts in New York City forty years ago or something like that.

it was incredibly cool except they build up to this big climax and then you get dumped out in the gift shop and realize you don't get to see the actual gold King Tut mask, but they use it on all their advertising for the exhibit. It was $175 to get in and we got our money back by making a huge fuss about it. they said they don't ever let it leave Egypt. then tell us that

That sucks, but I thought it did go on tour out of Egypt?

I did see the real exhibit. I thought it was pretty amazing.
