I was thinking about the legendary Paul Harvey. He was a news broadcaster that seemed to be on the radio forever. He always started his Friday show with a hearty "It's Friday". Every Friday I still say this.

I thought I would look on YouTube if there was any of his old shows. I was surprised to find a whole collection. This is one of his more prescient broadcasts. It is amazing to think he said all this back in the 60s.

I don't disagree with his point. People do become soft, and they seem eager to trade freedom for security.

I disagree with some of his points and with his simplistic philosophy. Things are 1000x more complex than what he portrayed. And he seemed to have no clue at all about how things got this way or who is behind it. It's not lazy people. It's a government that has been completely corrupted by money and power. It is fully owned by the global corporatocracy, whose goals are to enslave all of humanity.

The "People" are controlled through control of information, indoctrination, propaganda, censorship of information that conflicts with the official narrative, manufactured consensus, and being kept in a constant state of fear and uncertainty.

Honest journalists are no longer allowed to report. Those in charge, the conspirators, get to decide what's "fake news", and people believe them.

If people had access to information, we wouldn't be in this mess.

What jumped out at me was that he recorded this in 1965, I know things are more complex now and that there is a whole new menace in the people who support globalism. I always thought that the world is sinking and America is the lifeboat. If it gets overloaded it will sink and everyone will drown.
