Since it's not an iffical day you have to tell people it is. Yet if it really is, you're really saying it isn't, because it would be the opposite of whatever you'res saying. Yet if you say it isn't, then it isn't.

In order for it to exist, there needs to be some sort of consensus on where it starts and how it’s applied.


Like if they say it’s Opposite Day, does that imply that it starts after they said it?


Because if Opposite Day has already started, shouldn’t they instead say, “It’s NOT Opposite Day.”?


And would it just apply to actions?


Should we be speaking backwards?


Should Opposite Day be actually celebrated at night?


And, should it be done on every night BUT Opposite Day, since that’s the opposite from the norm?


And would we be doing the opposite of norms or opposite of meanings and would every truth be a lie and every lie the truth?


Would we even interact with the real world or would we do the opposite and interact with our imagination instead? Would that be the opposite?


And say we determined something was the opposite. Is it really the opposite, on Opposite Day? Or would it be treated as the same on Opposite Day? But what is same? Does the word “same” actually mean “different” on Opposite Day?


And for application, for everything that SHOULD apply… Should it actually NOT apply, on Opposite Day? Should rules or logical reasoning even be followed on Opposite Day? No? What about THAT rule? Does it apply to itself? Does it mean yes then?


Can Opposite Day even exist? Or does it do the opposite of existing and go into non-existence?
