Is Jenna Ortega overrated?

Personally, never got the fuss about her. in my opinion her acting is mediocre; She tries way too hard. It's like she's the same person in every role just in different situations instead of a different character.

I also, don't think she's that beautiful, as everyone raves either. She looks underage

Without googling it, I can't name a single thing she's been in that I've seen other than Wednesday, in which she was really the best part of a mediocre series... It's not hard to stand out when you're surrounded by rubbish, though. Cristina Ricci is the best Wednesday Addams, but I'd give Ortega a fairly close second.

After looking it up, it turns out that I haven't seen anything else she's been involved in other than a throwaway role in Iron Man 3.

As for looks, yeah she looks like a child (she is only 20, in fairness). That's arguably good for getting acting roles, but I don't find that appealing at all, and its honestly creepy that anyone does.

Everyone says that she’s a good actress, but I don't see it at all. It always looks like she is kinda trying way to hard and her lines are delivered so unnaturally to me. She’s also a one trick pony. As Wednesday she has the same stare/facial expression all the time. She just comes across as moody/angry teenager, whereas Wednesday is supposed to be a more complex character than that. I believe that she’s a product of good marketing

I don't think her acting's that good. I couldn't watch past the first two episodes of Wednesday. That show makes me fall asleep
