Why are there people who find Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel funny?

There must be millions of people who think they’re hilarious. Otherwise they wouldn’t have these shows and be making so much money.

Some years ago, my father bought a truck, and it came with six free months of satellite radio. I enjoyed the comedy stations, and would frequently listen to them while driving it. Now, sometimes, in the middle of set, you'd get a joke that just wouldn't work, because it relied on some visual component that you obviously couldn't see on the radio, and since the set had been written for the stage, it wasn't always obvious.

But that was usually just one joke in a bigger group of them; people picking material for a radio program would logically cut around visual jokes if they could. One day, I was on a long trip, and I tuned in to hear (according to the radio display) a guy named Andrew Dice Clay telling a "joke" that consisted entirely of repeating the phrase "I'll be right back" with various inflections. And the audience (or, I sincerely hope, laugh track) roared with laughter. And I couldn't understand it- it's not that the joke wasn't funny, it's that it wasn't a JOKE. I assumed it was just a visual thing I wasn't seeing, or there was some piece of context I wasn't missing, and shrugged it off; one joke in a set not landing wasn't the end of the world. But it went on... and on... and on, for SEVERAL ACTUAL MINUTES. Finally, I gave up and spent a minute or so looking to my other presets, only to come back to ".. right back. Right? Back! Right!" and laughter whose only logical origin was in some Gypsy curse.

I guess some people don't actually need comedy in their comedy.

They are propagandists that are hired by those media organizations to push a specific narrative. Nobody has to like them for them to be installed by a corporation onto the set of a show. They get paid, because they do what they are told. Just imagine how you'll feel about them when you find out about the dirt they have done to get in that position... Wait and watch...

Hey millions of people find SNL funny. Not funny to me. Jimmy Fallon not that fun, he's ok. But Jimmy Kimmel can be funny.
