Indeed, and the latest episode is apparently roasting my city, Myrtle Beach. Excited about this. I haven’t even watched it yet because I’m waiting for my husband to get up but I know it’s going to be good. 😎
I never watched it when I had cable cause it came on tv around mid night and I slept earlier than that as a teenager and I used to think it was vulgar. When I got older, I began to think it was funny but as far as I know, it was no longer on my tv station.
I have seen clips here and there (mostly on YouTube), but I haven't watched it in 20 years. The style of comedy just got a little too repetitive for me. The only thing that really changed over the years is it got more wild and outrageous, which is fine, but I just found it was done for the sake of sensationalism, and isn't typically very nuanced or well-executed. It's just "meh" to me. To each their own though, of course.

Yeah. I've just haven't gotten around to watching more than the first episode so far this season. Episode 1 seemed like re-hashed s***. But after what, 26 seasons you can't expect them all to be gold anymore.
South Park made its TV debut in 1997, and the Simpsons debuted in 1987 on the Tracey Ullman show, ten years earlier. Still though, both have had an incredibly long run, I'll give them that.
