I don’t like any as a lot of famous people just seem like idiots today. Very unimpressive people that have gotten recognition
+1 yWhat do you mean by famous? If you qualify the social media ‘stars’ that are considered famous simply because they can work a phone, then no, I’m not interested in them at all. They are self absorbed people that constantly post some picture of themselves at the beach, for example. That somehow earns them money.
If you are referring to famous as in something like a film star, then yeah, I do like some of them. By like, I mean that I enjoy some people’s work, whether it be film, music or similar. To me that is a talent. Some impress me by their music writing abilities or acting.
It is a talent I do not have. Taking a picture of myself standing on a boat is not a talent. Yet, many of these ‘famous’ people are famous because of things like that and nothing else. They depend on looks and that is it. The problem is that if people would not feed them attention, they wouldn’t be able to keep up their fame. Sort of like the trolls here. If you feed them, they come back. If you stop, they get bored. No different than the famous social media people.

Most of them are indeed a bunch of unimpressive folks. I mean, you can become "famous" if you have 20 followers on social media and call yourself an influencer, right?
Here is a very small selection of really famous people that I do like.
* Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi and Paganini (all classical musicians)
* Albert Einstein, Marie Curie and Nikola Tesla (scientists)
* Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, Botticelli, Rembrandt van Rijn, Johannes Vermeer, Pieter Brueghel (the Elder and the Younger), all painters.
If you notice, none of them are Americans and no, Albert Einstein was German originally.
Now, those are people that left an indelible trace in the world.

+1 yI’ve been big fans of the guys in The 1975 and Charli XCX, since 2013/2014… and I’ve loved seeing their paths cross a lot more in recent years. I think they’re brilliant, contemporary artists and musicians.

Also a number of electronic music producers and DJ’s… I’m basically just into the alternative/indie music world and those kinds of musical figures. I find them to generally be a lot more genuine in the music they make, and their personality and talents shine through a lot more.
And as far as who they are, you don’t get that “run-of-the-mill, uninteresting” type of thing you’re talking about, so much… There’s not that “label-exec’s in suits” feel to what they do, where it’s like the industry orchestrates the “perfect pop star…”
Like even though they make pop music, they aren’t those types of artists at all. It’s good stuff…

+1 yI like many for their talent, but I dont really know them to like them as a person.
For example, Will Smith. I thougt he was a great guy that came from struggle and had this beautiful outlook on life. Until... he slapped Chris Rock like a lunatic.
I don't hate the man. I just don't respect him like I did. I feel like he's going through shit. All the best to him.
Bit if I had to choose people superficially by media.. itd be:
- Joe Rogan.
- Jordan Peterson
- Jay Shetty
- David Goggins.
I think these people are real. Then again... it could Will Smith all over again.00 Reply

+1 yClint Eastwood and Samuel L Jackson are some of my favourites cause Clint is supposedly an easy going guy and Samuel L Jackson works very hard and has stayed faithful to the same wife. I also like Bill Gates cause he’s very humble on camera and seems to care more about morality than he does about mindless pleasure and endless praise.

+1 yKeanu Reeves. He’s pretty much as best as you can get when it comes to a celebrity.
Kevin Hart: Same city as me, neighborhood pretty close.
In all honesty, I don’t “like” or “dislike” anybody else really, because when you’re a celeb, you’re bound to be on some bullshit.
