The drivers on my NS-10s are a bit worn, but they're not blown. Is it worth it to spend the $300 to replace them, or will it not make much of a difference?

I guess it depends on how much you like their sound. They’re older but doesn’t mean they’re not still useful

No not audio production like you but when I was formulative having the best stereo sound system was it. The best sound for listening to my music is a passion of mine and I spend big bucks pursuing it. I guess you could cal me an audiophile

I like them better than the JBL sound

Yeah, JBL is good, but it always seemed a little "consumer grade" to me. They're not as sonically neutral as some of the less mainstream ones (which are usually the best)

To my ears I always preferred acoustic suspension which was Acoustic Research but they’re gone. Another acoustic suspension speaker was Altec Lansing. The L in JBL is Lansing.
