I like the instruments, but not the singer. If you like that type of music, you may want to try listening to Meshuggah.

  I love Meshuggah. The creators of djent!
  Yeah, I'm not a fan of his clean vocals, he's a little generic and angsty sounding for my taste. I do like his hard vocals though.

  My main go-to's are Northlane, ERRA, and Volumes I'd say... I've kinda not really been as into the whole genre lately tbh... it's mainly whatever these bands are releasing, I'm checking it out. Really, I kinda just feel like these bands pushed the scene to the limits in recent years and I'm not sure how it's going to be topped anymore haha.

  You're right man, I hear that completely. Some are even losing what made them so good to begin with by trying to top their last album or be the hardest hitting band lol
  That's cool though! ERRA, Northlane and Volumes are in my top 5 too.

  Hey thanks man... I kinda feel the same way about my drumming now too though actually LOL... like "welp, I'm as good as I'm gonna get, time to try another instrument! 🤣 ..." so I picked up a bit of piano and am trying to produce my own stuff now... just felt like the next step I guess.
  
  Oddly enough, I went from digging all the progressive metalcore stuff, to pop and dance music. Go figure, right? haha
