I don't like any death metal and I'm not much of a fan of any kind of metal. The early stuff, I'm okay with but, all this newer shit since the `80's is very repetitive and boring. early Kiss is about where I draw the line. Blue Cheer, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, the first 6 or 8 Black Sabbath albums, etc. and, except for LZ, I hardly ever listen to any of that, either. Fear Factory has a few cool songs, though. Fishbone did a few really cool metal songs, too.
