Is blue a "hot" or "cold" color?

There's kind of a twist with this question but I'm curious what the answers will be.

The reason I brought this up is because in chemistry and science blue denotes a far higher temperature. Blue Giant stars burn hotter than Red Giants. Orange flames are burning between 1100 to 1200C while blue flames are 2500 to 3000C. For that reason I always saw blue as a "hot" color. There's your nerd science for the day that you never asked for 🤣. Cheers.

According to colour theory, it is cool.

Cool greys are more blue.

That may be true in chemistry and astrophysics, but the cold water faucet has a blue dot.
