Who is the greatest professional wrestler of all-time?

To me this has never been a debate. It's always been Hulk Hogan It'll always be Hulk Hogan. But then I have to remember I haven't really been a "fan" of wrestling since Jr. High and that time marches on. So since It was never a debate 35 years ago, it makes me wonder what the new school thinks. Who do you consider to be the greatest of all time? The Rock? He's probably the richest wrestler of all time (if you don't count Vince). Hulk? He ruled the 80' and into the 90s. Rick flair, he's been around forever. The undertaker? Look at the length of his run in the WWE. Stone Cold? He was short-lived, but he defined the "Attitude Era." Or somebody else?

What say you?

I think Hulk Hogan is the answer. He was the first really popular wrestler who was the main event when wrestling went main stream. Not only that but he also carried it on when he became Hollywood Hogan.

If course his mark was probably passed but he was responsible for making wrestling popular enough for it to go to another level anyway. So he is the greatest.

See that's my thought. HULK was the man in a time when there was no social media. Everything he was what the WWF was able to get on t. v. and just word of mouth. And yet he still kind of became a household name. The WWE has a market cap. Of over 10 billion now. So it makes sense that the big name wrestlers are surpassing him in overall money made. I agree I don't think Hulk has been surpassed yet

None of the others were really perpetually on top like he was too. The Rock was very popular but he wasn't the main event of every ppv and show he featured in for almost his entire career. Same with Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Austin etc.
Perhaps Roman Reigns but even he isn't the only guy. They have 2 or 3 world champions now.

Bruno Sammartino, but you kids won't remember him. Back when wrestling was still kayfabe he held the World Heavyweight Championship for an unbroken 11 years in the 1960s. He won the title in a shoot match versus the original Nature Boy Buddy Rogers. He had another title reign through most of the 1970s.

I don't know a lot about wrestling but watched it in the 80's. I watched an interview with Hulk Hogan and he said Andre the giant is the greatest of all time.

That's understandable Andre was the man when he was coming up. And as Rick Flair would say "To be the man first you gotta beat the man". And Hulk did Wrestlemania III.👍💯
