I'd love to see Dolph Lundgren and Dwayne Johnson but my number 1 pick would be one of the spoiled damuszas like Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, Priyanka Chopra or one of the Kardashian sisters. Now THOSE would be interesting to watch.

The Kardashians. That's be entertaining as hell. They could even call it the Kardashians run wild or the Kardashian keep up with bear grylls. Cause everytime I watch that show I try to guess how the artist will fare. Like Keegan michael Key is hilarious but a lot softer as an outdoorsman than I figured he would've been. While Natalie Portman I thought would be a real pampered princess and she was game whatever and tackled whatever Bear threw at her like a champ.
The second one.
Yeah, Natalie Portman, Vanessa Hudgens and Courtney Cox were the ones who surprised me most, that they even came on the show, as I never figured them for the outdoorsy type, especially Vanessa.
While Marshawn Lynch and Danny Trejo for instance, have this tough guy image, and ended up being a complete embarrassment.
Bear grylls is such a fraud, I've seen the areas he's recorded on get exposed lol, one of them was right next to a highway
I mean, he did say at the begining of each episode, "I'm gonna SHOW YOU how to survive." Keyword here is, "show you". His producer even acknowledged that the purpose of the show is to have him DEMONSTRATE different survival methods and scenarios, not live them out.
But I think what really got him in hot water, was passing some of these things off as things that you should actually do in a survival situation. I think he would have been fine, had he marketed it as an "adventure show", rather then a survival show.
I am genuinely surprised however that he's still making shows after all this stuff came out
The intentions to fool people was there, he knows no one would watch it if he was just showing You, let's not forget the name is called man vs wild, there's nothing wild about the areas he was at lol
That's a good point. Also, someone who was familiar with some of the locations he visited would know immediately that some of the areas he showed were NOWHERE near each other. South Dakota and Turkey are the best examples of this.
I visited that exact area in the Badlands where he was climbing at the end, and it's nowhere near the Black Hills. You have to drive like 40 miles on a dirt road to get there.
And in Turkey, it was so obvious the last segments were filmed in Cappadocia, and there are no forests or mountains like that there, so it was so obvious the episode was filmed in different parts of the country.
Yea the awesomeness of the show went away knowing it was just around the corner lol
As a kid I used to watch it like "woah this guy knows his shit" homie was just eating bugs and shit for no reason lmao
I also saw a behind the scenes and they had buffet style food and you see them munching and shit, it just sucks lol
Yeah, my dad actually told me about this show, and I remember seeing Moab and the pilot in Montana and thinking, this is EPIC! This dude's a freakin' badass! They ruined it even more by reediting some of the episodes to show what ACTUALLY happened, and then some of my favorite ones they stopped showing completely. Thankfully, I taped most of them before that whole fiasco was exposed. Though I do wonder why they decided to actually tape that shit, like him releasing the snake in Australia. Like they thought people weren't gonna find out.
I don't recall the buffet one, but I remember reading that the scene where was was sleeping under a deer carcass in Scotland was actually filmed in a hotel room, and that the badger meat was actually steak. Surely, there are a lot more things that we don't know about.
The stuff like the parachuting, climbing, jumping in the frozen lake or floating down a raging river were real, but the actual practicality of it was fake. In Montana, he had a floatation device in his backpack and in France he had handholds pre-dug for him for the frozen lake. So the stunts themselves were real, like he actually put himself in those situations, but some of the methods he showed would never work in real life.
I still think the original episodes of seasons 1 and 3 were very entertaining, but I always had a hard time believing that stuff about the camera crew not being allowed to intervene.
I'm not entirely convinced that celebrity ones are 100% real, especially since those people are professional actors.
I still don't know how he got away with it, when other peoples' careers have ended for far more mild offenses. Dave Canterbury got kicked off "Dual Survival" for lying about his military background.
It's so unbelievable how a change perspective can ruin your whole look on something, I saw him eating crab legs and shit and was like damn, he eats better than me lol
little Wayne or Lebron James
Don't know much about Little Wayne. LeBron would be cool to see
