Why can’t piccolo make dragonballs when kami was able to and they are basically the same being?

Basically Piccolo is a warrior Namekian, which means he's super powerful, but he cannot heal, reproduce, or create the dragon balls.

How is he a warrior clan namekian when Kami is a dragon clan namekian?

Well, they split up, dividing good and evil part.

So then maybe, the good part, that became Kami, became a dragon namekian, while the evil part that became Piccolo was warrior namekian.

Kami doesn't fight either.

My guess is that when he was recreated and came out of the egg, he lost that ability and became pure warrior namekian.

He also later fused with that warrior namekian.. I don't remember the name of.

It’s just very confusing because even if piccolo couldn’t make dragonballs because he is a warrior type then how come he still isn’t able to even though he fused back together with kami to beat the androids

And what makes even less since is the fact that the dragonballs that Kami made if they’re destroyed piccolo will die too because he is fused with Kami shouldn’t it just undo the fusion if piccolo didn’t make those dragonballs

When he fused with Kami he just got stronger, he didn't get his dragon abilities. He also kept his own conscious as he was the "base" they talked about that before fusing
I don't think destroying the balls will kill the creator
But if the creator is killed, the balls will cease to exist - which is why they needed the new namekian to create new balls for the earth

Think about it they spent an entire saga on another planet looking for dragonballs when they ended using the dragonballs on earth to revive the namekians killed by frieza and his men

They also used the namekian dragon balls to get Piccolo to Namek. and they learned about the Namekian dragon balls and how they had different powers - as they could grant 3 wishes and you could resurreect others even though they've been resurected before.
And so they got the kiddy Namekian to earth to become the new Kami.

Remember they needed the namekian dragon balls to resurrect their friends a second time

I am a huge fan of Piccolo though, especially how he ended having a somewhat soft spot for Gohan.
