What is the most nostalgic smell to you?

When you smell something that makes you remember things. Whether it's a good or bad memory, certain smell really makes us nostalgic.

Here are mine

Crayons and pencils. Reminding me of when I used to draw creepy stuff just to scare people when I was elementary or preschool

Popcorn. It just makes me think of cinemas. It has a cozy interior.

Chlorine. The smell of swimming pool, when my brother and cousins always tease me because I couldn't swim before and only end up staying at the shallow parts. Good thing i do now.

Hotel rooms. When I used to keep jumping on their bouncy beds. Jumping from one bed to another and get repremanded.

Gun powder. New year in our childhood was really fun. Playing with sparklers and some seemingly harmless firecrackers stuff. I miss wild those times.

Floor wax. That is what is used in our classrooms so it would remind me of school times. Pentel pen, glue, markers or latex paint. Reminds me of creative school activities. Like when we have to make visual aids or art for an expo/presentation. Firewood smoke with a hint of vinegar. The smell of our countryside.

Great question!

I have almost no smell. Maybe like 5% left (if even that) so for me to smell something I need to be up close and SNIFFFFF. But I'd say the smell of cinnamon buns reminds me of the time I baked with my grandma when I was young😌. (She's still alive).

There used to be this mall when I was a kid called the Old Towne Mall in Torrance California. The whole place smelled like Carmel popcorn. It was the best smell ever.
