What smell will you never forget?

In Milwaukee Wisconsin as a kid and into young adulthood.
We always suspected that of the many breweries that Milwaukee had. But That that was part of the source. The other part was from Red Star a company that made yeast.
You could smell the yeast for miles.
"If you were eastbound on I-94 and you had a south wind, and especially if it was a rainy day, you were almost inside it. It was really enveloping, It’s hard to describe. It was pungent, organic... it was one of those love it or hate it smells. I found it kind of pleasant when you walk or drove though it”
Anyone who grew up in Milwaukee or who lived here before 2005 may remember a pungent yeast smell in the Menomonee Valley, around I-94.
Milwaukeeans, thinking of the smell can be sentimental. "For all of us in Milwaukee it was something that was nostalgic now and just one of the rather unusual things that makes Milwaukee, Milwaukee

Do you remember this smell in the air?
When I was a small kid, in my school there always use to be a really bad smell coming from the ground floor somewhere. It smelled like rotten eggs.
At that time I didn't know it was a chemical called Hydrogen Sulphide. I can never forget that smell.
When I was an apartment dweller early 20's a girl was killed in another apartment across hall from mine and she had been dead for several days before she was found. Everyone thought an animal had gotten into the bldg and died somewhere. Was present when police opened that apartment door. I ran to my apartment and threw up. I wouldn't wish that smell on anyone.
Lilac bushes 💜
We have them in our yard and when they're in bloom and the windows are open their fragrance is intoxicating.

There was a dead fish by a lake I visited years ago and I do not remember the smell but I do remember I was miserable from the dead fish scent. I do remember good smells like perfume or food but do not remember bad ones.
There was a veterinarian next door to a store where my father used to take me on Sunday to get the newspaper. The vet uses to cremate the animals on Sunday and you could smell the fur burning.
The smell of a store I used to go with my mother when I was a child. That place is special to me.
