Is the Nun 2 movie appropriate for 13 or 14 year olds?

This is something I really need to know since a few of my cousins and friends are willing to go as they liked the first one but I'm worried if they'll get traumatized from it. I know it has jumpscares and stuff but is it enough to traumatize a teenager. Please share your opinion!!!

So we did go to watch it and trust me, if you are familiar with horror movies and have watched a lot of them, this movie will be a bummer for you. It wasn't scary enough. I would give it a 5 or 6/10 based on spookiness and 5/10 for storyline. It's worth watching once but the storyline is pretty much the same as the first sequel.

13 or 14 is old enough in my opinion. Thats the kind of fun, scary movie kids that age enjoy. But only 13 or 4 year olds of sound mind because if my memory serves me correctly, the first one had people committing suicide in it.

@ the update. Yes, I guessed it wouldn't be a full on feast of horror. All the movies in the "conjuring universe" rely on suspense and fantasy rather than classic horror. Thats why I knew it would be ok for adolescents.

I think it will be quite traumatizing , poor kids may have trouble sleeping or going to the toilet alone for the next few weeks

No it’s not appropriate. And I don’t know where you live but it’s r-rated in the US, meaning if you’re under 17 you have to have a parent or guardian join you to be allowed to see it.

Yes I'm aware it's r-rated but our parents are gonna accompany us. Will it still be just as terrifying?
