just wanting to provoke discussion
Do the people that do live streaming on say TikTok and Twitch actually care about their audience and subscribers or those who send the gifts?
I think it is along the lines of some attachment but they are there to make money so it is like being friendly and polite but just for the service much like a regular customer at a store they know who he or she is but they don’t say want to meet up for coffee or anything
what do you think?

So I’ll take this into perspective of me being a server and I hope it doesn’t offend anyone but for the most part very rarely do I care about my customers even if I give them top notch customer service and I act super caring towards any issues. Keyword is act. And yes waitressing is a job of acting and performing. It’s my job to act caring , kind, vibrant, entertaining etc. how I am with my tables is not who I am in real life. I’m highly introverted and don’t like being around people that often.
Anyways rant over. The point being is there’s no way in hell they care about you even if they say they do. You are their source of income and most people can fake a smile and act caring for a few dollars.
I agree. It is a service. I am close friends with one and they told me it is just a game
