Which artist's paintings do you like?

For me it is definitely Picasso because of his paintings. Some of his paintings contain very interesting techniques that drew me in.

this artwork above is by edvard munch, his inspiration for that painting came from a walk with friends when the sun started setting his imagination kicked in. as you see in the back of the painting two figures representing the friends.

picassos work is one could say childish, simple lines, basic colors, it is considered cubism.

but the dream by picasso comes with a backstory, critics did not like the erotic content, as its said in the upturned face of his lover, picasso painted his penis.

I have been impressed when I saw the original work of Carravagio, was impressive!

I like the nostalgic essence of Monet, which will take you into your childhood memories. My childhood was nowhere like this and it still reminds me of it.

Monet was a big name but you don't hear much about him compared to others

Depends on what period in time you're talking about. Classical neoimpressionalism roman classic reneissance modern times each have their own value and sentiment/sentimental value pertaining to that era and genre especially for the people of those times.

Modern you can say artists like thomas kinkade

Reinessance leonardo da vinci, michaelangelo

Others like van gogh and piccasso (yes my spelling sucks i dont care)

Older modern famous andy warhol (not particularly fond of his work but he was good for his time)

It's from Edvard Munch not from Picasso.

I prefer unhappy clowns in palace of Queen Bona Sforza. The clown with the name Stańczyk is depressed because of lost battle while nobility makes a party in background and doesn't care at all. It depicts current politics. The ship sinks but important is only the Band plays music.
