In a horror movie, which character would you be?

Would you make it to the end, or be the villain?

Could be either one, I guess.
- I could die early, in surprise or by not being used to compartmentalizing the fear and therefore act irrational. Maybe I try to be the hero anyway and not let myself adapt fast enough.
- If I learned quick and had enough chances, maybe I could increase the odds and slide up right next to the hero as the good sidekick. Maybe even turn out to be the hero.
- Could I be the villian? Yes, I know how you can be confused, I understand how bitter and angry you can be and if I was less introspective, I would've been there longer, maybe long enough to make into a bubble. Villains don't see the world the same and may not listen to others, he's trained himself or been trained by society to think he don't belong or that what we say, do and mean are too far apart that he feel more sane being in his own world.

I've only watched one horror movie.
really dont understand the popularity of the genre
who wants to feel that way?
each to their own i suppose, which brings me to the reason im commenting.
im over the limit for asking questions so maybe someone can ask it for me.

The final girl because I'm going to fight my way to the end and not make all the stereotypical dumb moves most of the other girls make in horror movies such as falling over a tree branch, losing my virginity in the woods, hiding in obvious place to be found, etc.

probably the one who doesn't think there's anything wrong so they go check the basement/where the noise is coming from/the forest etc to reassure the others and gets killed first
