Honestly I'd take the backwards compatibility. That being said, emulators are pretty common for ps1 and 2 if you have a computer or device capable of running them. Ultimately it's personal preference.

One of my laptops runs windows 8.1 and can run snes and nes emulators can it run ps1 and ps2 games on it?
I would assume so. I'm not the most technical person but you would need a emulator and the proper iso roms for the games you wanted to play
I dont even need emulators I have the original ps2 and ps1
