I have a ps3 fat model 2008 should I buy a ps3 super slim or not?

If you're current PS3 still works, no need to buy another one. In my opinion the phat PS3s are better looking then the slim and super slim models.

PS2 you get component out and PS3 you HDMI out resulting in better picture output. PS2 has a smoothing filter that can be enabled in menu that slightly improves picture quality, and PS3 also has filters that improves picture more than the PS2. PS2 is backwards compatible with PS1 memory cards, and PS3, you can transfer saves from your PS1 memory card via USB adapter, but they tend to be expensive.

Yeah do they look better on PS2 because I noticed an increase in sharpness and detail on PS2 on my HDtv
