PS5,

a huge number of games such as CyberPunk are unplayable on the PS4.

ray tracing and other dynamic changes to games will not be backward compatible as they rely on hardware.

Software houses do not want to create multi version of the same platform.

the changes to gaming will make the PS4 a dead end in a couple years.

yes as a short term here and now cash saver you could go PS4, just be aware you will potentially not be able to play some games such as Cyber Punk and other later releases.

do some home work on it.

  I got cyperpunk on my seris s hoping we will get more dlc and they will actually fix the game. I decided to go with a cheap gaming pc till ps5 became available in stores thanks for you input

  That's out of my league and most have cost you a arm in a leg my friend. I always wanted to build a pc but prefer laptops from obviouse reasons

I wouldn't pay over 400 for a game or phone. So I don't know what to tell you there. I dont even game enough to spend all that. I say wait a couple of months til it drops in price during a holiday or something. Its not like its going anywhere with the pandemic and stuff
