I want to get a ps5 but I am not sure if it is worth its money.
Whether the PS5 is worth its price is kind of like asking if the extra guac is worth it at a taco stand – for some, it’s a must, for others, not so much.
Lightning-fast load times, a super-smooth frame rate, and that haptic feedback on the controller that makes you feel every in-game moment? Pretty sweet. Plus, the exclusive games are nothing to scoff at – you've got titles like "Spider-Man: Miles Morales" and "Demon's Souls" that are total eye candy and insanely fun.
But, if you're more of a casual gamer or you've still got a pile of PS4 games to get through, you might not rush to drop the cash.
In my book, if you're all about having the latest tech and you want those exclusive games in their best form, the PS5 could totally be worth the splurge. But if you're chilling with a PS4 and it's treating you right, maybe hold off until the PS5 gets a price drop or a game comes out that you just can't live without.

I regret rushing to get it as i barely use it. I see it like buying a phone in its next generation. There a few changes in graphics and performance but other than that its really hard to see all the changes when gaming. Cyber punk and elden ring dont feel any different as they are high preforming games Plus ps5 games have a $10 increase to their ps4 counterparts and the controllers are super expensive even on sale
For the pro it looks nice and downloads are much quicker. Took me like 5 minutes to have avatar the last Airbender downloaded. The controller despite their cost feel nicer than the ps4. I got the disk version so i can run ps4 disk directly. The price does tend to decrease slightly over the years so that is a plus.
At the end of the day it comes down to if you can afford it and if your going to use it often. If so then its worth it
Not really as you can build a pc for a bit more and have much more freedom to do anything you want including getting games, movies, tv shows, and programs the illegal free way lol. Not that i recommend it but you have the freedom to do whatever you want on pc compared to a locked down ps5 lol.

Realistically, no. An Xbox would probably be a better console to get. The game offerings are meh, and the graphics performance on games like Elden Ring absolutely sucks, and the touchpad on the controller will never cease to confuse me. That said, I definitely get a good bit of use out of my PS5.
Not really. The only thing you'll really get out of it are exclusives but they aren't even that good.
Apparently, Stellar Blade is going to be an exclusive and I hear the game was made in defiance of many modern standards so I might change my mind if that turns out to he a success.
I bought one about a week ago and I am ready to return or sell it. There are no good setup instructions, but I was fortunate to have assistance with this. In the first and only game that came with it (spiderman 2), there are incomprehensible instructions directing the player to push certain buttons on the controller. Good luck figuring out which buttons those are. I am tired of being a bet tester for this thing. The documentation sucks.
You can play video games. So if you want to play video games on a PS5 its worth it. Of you don't want to play video games at all or not the PS5 games its not worth it.
Maybe if you don’t have anything else, but if you already have a PS4 then there is literally no reason to get one other than to make yourself feel special like that one woman at work who always does more than her job requires her to.
Yes. But only if you're actually invested in the platform.
If not, you'll get better value out of a gaming PC
To me it depends on how much you’re actually gonna play it.
I feel like I don’t play on my ps5 enough to really justify keeping it sometimes.I was tired of all that shit with the memberships and having to upgrade consoles, I just got myself a pc and I can use the controller so it's all good
No, just get a good PC and controller. PS5 and xbox series x are pointless.
No.. NO!! Not enough titles. Yes it does enhance some ps4 games, but not worth 4 to 500 bucks to speed by loading screens here and there.
Its worth the price if you have the time and budget to play it
How is anyone supposed to know your sense of value?
If you even asking this question I think not
no i really don't think so
