Who is your all-time favorite ROCK drummer?

Sandy Nelson. He had a flashy style and propulsive rhythms which helped elevate the importance of percussion instruments in early rock and roll.
One of his earliest:

Neil peart. As well as being an amazing percussionist, he also wrote a lot of rush's songs.

There isn't only one, to me.
John Bonham was mentioned already.
Plus:
Nick Mason
Ian Paice
Phil Collins (to me it counts as rock)
and for sure:
the Animal

No doubt he was influenced by previous drummers in rock groups from the 70s and 80s, but he has an ability to not only play hard but stay in the background and mix with such a wild array of instruments that the other band members utilize.
Hitta go with Tye Fab Fiur... Ringo Starr. Not only was he a drummer, he was also Mr Conductor on Shining time Station with Thomas the Tank Engine
Really butchered that typing...
Should read "Gotta go with The Fab Four..."
Cozy Powell. Also, since he probably won't get any votes I want to give an honorable mention to Mick Tucker of Sweet.
Don Henley (lead singer/drummer The Eagles)
Artimus Pyle (drummer Lynyrd Skynyrd, their 2nd drummer)
tough my top three are John Bonham, Keith Moon and Mick Avory
probably Keith Moon
Ringo Starr. He was great with the Beatles and recently showed his skills and he is still awesome.
A toss-up between Neil Peart and Mike Portnoy
I think he just died, recently, the drummer for the STONES, Bobby Waits (spelling)
Brian Bennett of The Shadows or Roger Taylor from Queen. I've heard both play some hectic solos.
a lot of great drummers have been suggested already but no one has mentioned Bill Bruford yet.
From the Sugarhill gang this song

It's gotta be John Bonham!
Probably John Densmore
I honestly never followed drummers. Guitars were always my thing. Nothing against drummers tho, it takes slot of skill.
