I don’t often listen to French songs but I was listening to Stacey Kent and it was in my suggestions and I have been listening to it for two days already.

It somehow feels close to my heart, and now that I translated I do really believe the music is language of the soul, because seems like it made me feel exactly the same things as the lyrics happen to be about.

i know this is an old song and i don't really like genres of black music, but this song still has a nice sound to it. i don't know the meaning but i've tried to google. not enough lyrics in it in my opinion. anyway, i didn't know it was sung by a black guy. what a voice!

I feel like this song speaks for both of us. It was not only my loss, it was his loss too and if he wanted to end the mysery earlier than me, it doesn’t mean it wasn’t painful for him.

Funnily enough, I once heard a girl say another’s girls loss was her gain.

I ran 3 miles around a lake after breaking up with an ex-girlfriend. Did nothing for the visceral pain. Took about a week for that physical manifestation to fade. Then the emotional healing began. Over it. But I still remember her face vividly and I miss our fond moments.
