Like yes they’re acting their ass off but their characters piss you off to the point that if you’re aware they’re starring in another film, you’ve already lost interest in seeing that movie 😩😂

For example, if someone played like a racist or rapist or pedo or childkiller, I already know I can’t handle seeing them in another film. That girl in Gone Girl also pissed me off so much that I can't handle seeing her in anything else. I loved me some Lou Diamond Phillips but seeing him kill kids in Law & Order really bothered tf outta me. can't look at him the same. Sure they’re just “acting”. But they chose to take on the role and i can CHOOSE to not watch them in other stuff 🤷‍♀️

Lol yea sad Affleck in Changing Lanes, Jersey Girl and Gone Girl was tolerable. Omg the Rocks arrogance and cockiness pisses me off so much but i still enjoy his films 😩 Especially San Andreas and Walking Tall. I also find Alexandra Daddario annoying though quite relatable. Florence is soooo boring! Beautiful but boring. Hawkeye was a good show and i thought she was somewhat cool when they introduced her but just hearing her speak makes me wanna claw my ears out. Its like Kristen Stewart and Scarlet Johanssen already bland but with an accent. Yuck. And Blck Widow had potential as a film but ugh it was all taken away by starring two bodies with bad tones of voice. And yea as for Ana De Armas, she didn't impress me in Knock Knock. She stepped it up in No Time to Die but her acting skills are easily forgettable aside from being pretty. I dont have much to say on her. JOHN FCKING CENA! The last time i tolerated this man was The Marine and 12 Rounds. Both films were AMAZING. But then i saw him on Total Bellas tryna run Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan. he's awful. I dont pity Nikki Bella cause she's gold digging trash. But anyways then Cena tried to become a comedian in his films. he's dry af. No charm. At least the Rock and all his cockiness have charm. I used to like both men in WWE but maybe they shouldve stayed there. Mark Wahlberg! Im surprised i got past his assholery in the film Fear. But im not over him saying certain words when he thought he was a rapper. You listed some good ones

I think this is an unfair question. Some actors who play those “annoying” characters are playing them as they are intended to be. For example, Joffrey in Game Of Thrones / A Song Of Ice And Fire, was designed to be hated. Disliking the actor / actress for doing a good job is doing them a disservice. As for villains, you can not have a truly over the top hero without a good villain. Batman needs the Joker, the Riddler, Bain or any other of his arch nemesis in DC to make interesting stories.

I say the actor did their job if they pissed you enough playing their character in the movies by making them carry out actions that obstruct the protagonist as an obstacle to overcome.

I don't know if there's an actor/actress like that. Usually, when I see a villain I can't stand, I like to watch that actor/actress. Because I know he's/she's good, which means the movie is probably good, at least because of him/her.
Jean Clode van Dam in a villain role. Guess there is someone. 🤣 There are a few others probably.

Unless I only knew them for one movie or one type of series.

Delaney William's in SVU is a scum sucking parasite of a character, as defense attorney John Buchanan. He's a phenomenal actor because he elicits such a strong response from me when he's on it. I also recgonize how good of a lawyer he is and would love a defense lawyer of his caliber if necessary.

@DryGermanGuy it's partly to see their range. Most of the most hated characters are some of the nicest people. Take Jack Gleeson who played Joffrey Baratheon in GoT. Really nice person, great actor (although he retired), but played a sociopathic sadistic character so well he got hundreds to cheer when his character died. That takes talent.

Hitmans Bodyguard initially annoyed me because i can't stand Ryan Reynolds nor Samuel. I was forced to watchh with fam and Sams character grew on me especially in the sequel. As for Michael Ealy, i disliked him in For Colored Girls because he killed kids. I also disliked him in The Perfect Guy. I only watched for Morris Chestnut but the movie sucked in general and i can't stand Sanaa Lathan either

I'm not with you on all these folks. Some of these folks that play great villains also play great other characters, like John Lithgow, who's not on your list. Alec Baldwin plays a mean bad guy, but he's also hilarious in comedies. Kevin Bacon plays a great psycho but also a great detective. The guy I can't stand in anything is the Rock, and Emma Watson is like melba toast for me. :)
