I wonder how does the language come off to your ears, where is it from in your opinion?

I wrote this poem when I was 16,

Hmm. This is not one I'm familiar with. At first listen I would've said it was a Slavic language since it has a sorta similar sound in that I can tell it has a lot of consonant clusters, but it's not right for that group, it has a more smooth cadence to it.. and I also didn't recognize any of the vocabulary or endings.

Oof, I looked up and saw the bottom of your update. That explains a lot lol. I don't know much about Georgian (other than basic language nerd things), but it is a rich language and is very euphonic.

I'm terrible at languages but it kind of reminds me of Icelandic, there's a certain lyricism to certain languages that I find cool.

Nope, this is Georgian. Do you find it has lyricism?

Yeah reminds me of a song in terror in resonance I liked called Von. As I said I'm effectively monolingual so maybe I'm just ignorant but as a language it sounds to me like running water. There's a flow to it that doesn't stop, it's not broken up and staccato like English feels a lot of the time. I probably sound like an idiot trying to explain it but yeah to me it's weirdly beautiful.

I would have guessed somewhere around Italy because although it's not exactly italian... I do hear some italian in it

Because you're Georgian, that's my first guess. It also sounded a little bit Eastern European. But I don't know the languages well enough to say. And at one point I thought I heard the word 'salaam' in there, but I'm not sure if that's correct.
