when he comes on the speakers at the grocery store I kinda feel comforted.

My favourite voices are Damiano David (Måineskin) and Alex Turner (Artic Monkeys). They're so low and smooth, one second of Måineskin's Beggin' song and you're in a different world.
But as for comforting voices, honestly Post Malone is my pick. There's some about it that I can't get enough of

it's electronica... of which there are so many bands

this one band in particular has been out there since the 90's and they have also changed "style" so many times... it is a well-known band, just not a mainstream one
