Are there any books that you've liked so much that you've re-read them a lot and you can remember whole passages from them?

Yeah if this line here don't make you want to read this book I don't know what will. Everything death say's is just so on point and the ending... is even more.

The Exorcist - "Okay rags your mother's ass is draggin. Come on Say it! Say April Fool." quote from Captain Howdy who is a way more important thing in the book than the film. This is a very early example of a voice in her head, and a very distinctive point as it never once confirms in the book if an actual possession happened. And there is a much later quote by Chris rags mum that implies it may of not been so.

Also anyone paying a single amount of attention to The Exorcist whether book or film it becomes clear that Chris starts ignoring her daughter for her job. Giving Rags a perfect psychological reason why she started acting up.

The writer pretty much outright rejects this idea and says she was possessed but personally I think he changed his mind on that when it came to doing the film. Cause this original book leaves way to many hints that it was just in her head.
