Anyone knows this anime?

I watched this movie when I was so so little. I remember it but can't find it or the name of it. My father was obsessed with anime so we would rent them in the nearest blockbuster. Anyways Iv been trying to find it and can't.

It starts like:

I think it was the child's birthday and he made a wish. (I think its too vivd this part)
The dog is able to speak now.
I don't remember the middle of the movie but she has this ability to understand her dog.
The end, ends with the weather being snowing, and she no longer can understand the dog. I guess her ability goes away. And its this really sad scene when she can't understand her dog anymore.


I remember the dog was small and white.
The kid, not sure if boy or girl. I think they were an only child in the movie.


I know its way to broad but please help me out! I was way to young to even understand the plot of the story so any guesses would help.

Wow really? So impressed... I have been looking for it for so long but when I searched it nothing would come up. I guess also cus I don't really watch anime so it was hard for me to even know what to look for. But thanks anyways! I plan to watch it with my family. I remember it made me emotional as a child even tho I barely remember the plot 😂

And you’re sure that it was a film and not a series?

Yes. I remember watching it from start to finish next to my father. It ends with the child not being able to hear the dog again. There is a possibility that it is a series and I just not sure. But from what I remember it was a movie

Look up the movie “junkers come here”. The dog isn’t fully white but it does talk and it’s an anime movie. Could it be that one?

Omg yes. I just looked for the trailer and Im balling my eyes out cus I can remember it as I see it. I posted the same question a few years ago when yahoo answers existed, and noone could find it for me.
