I think it would be fun to try acting 🤔 Not like a movie but like a play.

That could be fun. I took an acting class for an easy A over the summer session in college, and I did get the easy A, but the acting is so much harder than you’d think. I think I got the A because I tried, not because I’m Robert DeNiro, lmao. I’m a pretty dynamic and outgoing person, I don’t shy from a spotlight, I like to get laughs and entertain. I thought I’d be relatively pretty good. I was…. ok, I guess, but whenever I thought I was killing it, the instructor was like “you’re indicating”, meaning she was aware I was acting and it wasn’t natural. We had another exercise where I had to say something that wasn’t seductive, but I had to look in this girl’s eyes and say it seductively, and then she’d say when it was coming across correctly. And she was the cutest girl in the class ( and not for nothing, but I was probably the ONLY decent looking guy there, a couple of the high school drama club girls taking a college credit all liked me, I think, and maybe a couple others…back in my prime😎😂), so I thought I was going to blow this thing out of the water. I came out of it with a whole new respect for acting, and a sapping of self-confidence, lmfao. Im down on a knee, holding her hand, trying to stare in her eyes like I’m on Dawson’s Creek or something, and licking my lips, biting my lip, trying to do some LL Cool J shit (these 90s references landing with you, orrrr…?😂)…. but this girl isn’t having any of it. Just getting nothing, running the line over and over. I think she was finally like “poor kid. I’ll put him out of his misery, and mine.”, and just said I finally broke her down. No I didn’t. No I didn’t💀💀💀

If you want to act in a play you can sign up for working in them at your local theater group, or at least ask people in your area where you can do that.

I wanted to be an actress in later middle school. But I had no time for drama classes after school, or rather, I had a the kind of upbringing where I had to be home after school right away. High school was far away too, and i walked all the time. So I never did that--but I think I would have liked to have tried it anyway. Today being a movie director sounds like more fun, or creating a movie.

It depends. If I was offered a major role in a huge blockbuster, yeah I would take it along with the millions of dollars paycheque. But if it was every night in some scungy theatre for $20 a night performing a crappy stage act like Hamlet or Moulin Rouge, no fucking way.
