Only when something controversial happens then i invest a moment of my time other than that its like sitting through a graduation ceremony. It means something only if your involved and a couple of hours for everyone else sitting through egos being praised

All of the award shows are just advertisements for their craft. I rarely watch them and really don't care about the results. 100 years from now, will anyone know, or care, who wins best animated cinematography?

They haven't been relevant for years and only continue to get worse. Most people have never heard of, much less paid to see the movies that win because it is stupid crap made by Hollyweird for Hollyweird.
