I never liked them to start with, and from the clips that I have seen I have to agree with you.
Now has become a political platform for rich entitled that we could care less what they think.
They get paid to read/sing words that others have written for them.

It seems that every week there is one of these shows on TV, Despite all the hype about them I do not think anyone watches them. The networks just put them on because they are cheap to produce. When I was a kid the Oscars were a big deal, now it is just a bunch of liberals pushing their own agendas.

I do not watch those shows any longer. I was 8 the last time something I liked (The Return of the King) won anything major. Now they are a farce, or as you said, a mockery
