The fact that "internet influencer" ranks in the top (3?) career aspirations for kids in school sickens me. No matter how well anyone thinks that the Internet is policed or can be monitored, it will never be kid-friendly let alone a good idea for kids to host channels. I could easily be convinced that parents allowing their kids to host a channel are being ignorant at best, exploitive and abusive at worst.
What’s worse is gaming streamers who live in million dollar mansions when there average viewer age is 12 and they make all their money from exploiting children.
