Much like our dear Jack Sparrow, it has the accolade of being worst among the best, and you have heard of him.

I quite liked Better Call Saul. Although admittedly I have only seen two seasons. My series watching diminished post-uni.

I think it tries a lot of relatively fresh ideas in its storytelling and formats. It rarely drives them home but that doesn't mean they were not interesting. The more I think about it, it really is a series that deserves mention but not the top of the list. For once I agree with the verdict!

I ended up watching that whole series after watching Breaking Bad, and promptly forgot most of it. I don't recall it being "bad" so much as just blatantly milking the success of a better series that it couldn't exist without. If it were actually "bad," it wouldn't have gotten nominations in the first place.

? It's a really well written show and none of these award show nominations and victories mean jack shit. They are merely annual popularity contests, not judges of quality.

Breaking Bad was one of the best Netflix series ever made.
What if you were a brilliant chemist, who wound up as a high school chemistry teacher?
What if you found out you had cancer.
What if you loved your family and wanted to make sure they would be OK when you died?

What if your brother-in-law was a drug enforcement agent?

What if he took you for a ride-a-long and watched how much money was seized from meth busts?

You need to watch this.

Saul was his crooked lawyer. Saul could arrange anything you can imagine.
You need someone killed? "Better call Saul." lol

So, Saul was a brilliant character in the Breaking Bad series, but it just wasn't enough to go out on his own.
