Yes, I watched the man a lot as I grew up and especially in the Rocky movies.  It is sad to see him go or anyone from his period, but at least he passed away in his sleep. One actor I always get afraid to see a headline about is Clint Eastwood, since I fear it will say he has died.  Now that is one I would be bothered a lot by. I have seen a lot of his movies/shows such as Rawhide and read Marc Eliot's book about him too. An amazing man that guy is.

Actually, I am a bit bummed. I JUST saw him this past week in commercials with Gronk. I looked at him and then bells and whistles went off in my head "OMG, that's Carl Weathers!" I was really happy to see him and wished he was going to make something else.

Yeah that was totally sad. I loved him in Arrested Development. I know it was a bit part for just some episodes but he was so good. I have seen him in some classics too. I have also see him in interviews. He is a little past my time but seemed liked such a nice and genuine guy. I’m said that I won’t get to see him in anymore funny sitcoms which he was so good at. Such a loss. Rest in peach.

I've only seen him in Rocky movies and only those 4 movies were enough to make him easily one of my favorite actors from the 80s
I'm amazed how not mang people mentioned Apollo Creed... In my opinion he will always be remembered as Creed!

The athleticism , size , body and the charisma he had...

Yes as a kid that was one of my favourite movies so it was sad to see Adam Sandlers post and find out he died.
