I've actually never tried a self portrait even though I enjoy drawing a lot. I feel a bit self-conscious trying to draw myself. Mostly I like to draw my friends and pets like this:

I used to love oil painting but I no longer have a proper basement or space for it so I ended up switching to digital for painting.
