I’m learning how to play acoustic guitar well enough to prank my lady. We saw the Barbie movie and when they had the scene of all the Kens pulling out guitars at the beach bonfire and playing Matchbox 20 for all the Barbies, like “let me sing at you”, lmao…. she goes “that’s so cringe, it’s one of my biggest icks”…. I bought a guitar by the end of that week and am secretly learning to play some chords😂 I. CAN’T. WAIT to whip a guitar out and start playing it out of nowhere at some point in the future. Best prank ever😂😂😂

Not yet, but I'm teaching myself the harp. Unfortunately, with my wrists in their current carpal tunnel state, and my boss not understanding that "this means I will work slower" means I will work slower, all I've been able to really do is tune it, but I'm building up my knowledge base. And playing pleasant little note patterns, because it's hard to make a harp sound bad.

I play MIDI keyboard but very poorly and improperly. Just self-taught to make little tunes for the video games I made like this (old one I recorded when I was a boy; apologies for the poor sound quality, it was originally recorded on cassette tape):

  I didn't really understand scales and chords and things like that so I mostly played the white keys and transposed the song after. I couldn't understand how to use the black keys since they all sounded weird to me.

  Now I understand it though! In recent years I started studying music theory and started learning about scales and chords and functional harmony and species counterpoint and so forth. I wish I learned that when I was a kid since it would have saved me a lot of time and confusion.

I play piano. A few years ago I lived somewhere where there was a piano and I liked to play on it. Then I moved a way, so I can't play anymore and a half year ago I finally bought one and now I'm learning myself almost daily to play piano. Really fun hobby to have!

I’ve played saxophone, guitar, and I’m currently learning the mandolin. I was only ever great at the sax though. I’ve played around with the piano and harmonica… and I entertain myself with a jaws-harp… and I’m a great whistler 😏
