Ok, I mean thats a long list.
I guess atm I often hear beast in black, edguy, electric callboy, feuerschwanz (although mostly german), epica. I mean always a bit of nightwish.
Nightwish stays all time favorite, them excluded that would probably be my this month top 5.

When I think of girls music I think of Dua Lipa and Fifth Harmony and Bebe Rexha and Zara Larsson. Got anything similar to these?

I also know Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Ariana Grande but I don't like Lady Gaga. The latter 2 are so so.

I do know dua lipa the rest of the top Ones not. I mean yeah lady gaga and rihanna I know. But thats not what I hear and like at all.
Halestorm has a cover of bad romance, and tenacious D has a cover of 'baby one more time'. Maybe that? What makes that girls music though what you count as girls music? 🤔

I do not have a defined criteria of what qualifies a girls music. It's hard to explain. When you hear certain songs, that are from Dua Lipa or Fifth Harmony or the alikes, you'll automatically know it's (to a certain degree) a girls music. Sometimes you can feel, that it resonates with girls stuff. There is however the tendency of music, that is especially more popular among the girls than the boys. That's just one aspect I'm aiming at.

Conversely if you were to ask "Show me some boys music" and you'll get boys posting with AC/DC, Queen, Slipknot, Juice WRLD, maybe Depeche Mode

Go to spotify and look at 'similar musicians'.
I told you about music some girls listen to but that wasn't girly enough for you apperently. Also if you want to listen to it doesn't that make it not girls music?
Between you and me there is one person that wants to listen to your girls music which is you. Why would it continue being girls music? This is soo confusing🙈

Don't overthink it. I haven't said what music girls *should* listen to.
I haven't had yet the opportunity to listen to your suggestions.
Again, music, that is predominantly listened to by girls or resonates with girls is relatively girls music.

Maybe just chart music? Its what most people hear, so half of that would be girls music. I just disagree, with the concept, that most Music is gendered. I think with some exceptions there is not much music thats only for girls or guys. That would just be bad music. Then again look at the charts, that is mostly bad music so maybe I am the exception.

Even if we gender assign music towards either gender, there's nothing wrong with enjoying it regardless of gender.
I know I didn't like almost any music from 2004-2010. There was just Lady Gaga and Tokio Hotel and other pain in the ears, that I rather not look up now.

A band😅. A band germany tried to get into the ESC but they got banned because they werent 'value compliant'. That being said their name was eskimo callboy at the time 🙈. Their music is fine though. And the band actually isn't a problem at all. It just that the people deciding who we send didn't like the music.

That seems to be my problem with the question as well. Still Not sure what would count as girls music. Or why my music would count as Guy music. It just feels like a stupid way to genderlock music taste.
