https://www.youtube.com/embed/cs4RG9u8IVUI know you're gonna hate me and others are gonna hate me, but I got fed up with the Beatles after some YouTuber was doing an album competition and people were voting for Beatles albums over Sabbath and Deep Purple albums. No way in hell are the Beatles who sang about submarines, walruses and weather, better than the bands who wrote two of the most iconic riffs in music history.
did you vote in the poll? With only 7 poll options allowed, I had to pick the three I thought were the most famous and influential.
Oh, is that why you did that? Because I saw that and was like, there were definitely WAY more British invasion bands than just those 3.
I'll vote to make it official, but from MY list it should be obvious
Goats can be troublesome.
Beatles - lame, but popular, as people were lame, too.
The Who - nice try, but not convincing. But Steve Moon at least had some own style.
The Stones - outrageously rebellish in personal style, but from the music point of view a bit too much on the popular track.
...
Now let me suggest:
Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd.
Keith Moon, not Steve Moon, and Moon was the GOAT of drummers like Entwhistle was the GOAT of bass guitarists!
Oops. You're right. Sorry for my error.
But also - it's symptomatic:
I'd never confuse Paice, Bonham or Mason :D
I thought you meant this type of British goat invasion

Where is Led Zepplin? Pink Floyd, Elton John?
they were later on. not considered British invasion of the early to mid 60s
if anything, the kinks would have been #4 but with only 7 poll options, choices are limited
The Stones never showed me much of anything and were just a flavour of the day band. Whatever was hip, they copied it.
For my money, Beatles, Dave Clark 5, Herman's Hermits.
You forgot the Kinks but of them all the Who was the hardest rocking and my fave
the kinks would have been my fourth choice, but four bands gives too many combos and GAG only allows 7 poll options.
Yeah just leave off Manfred Mann, it’s fine! Lol
you only get 7 poll options, so I went with the three biggies
