What's your opinion on cosplaying a character not your size?

Depends on the cosplay, but generally I do not think a cosplay is good unless the person looks just like the character they are portraying, via size, shapes, clothing, accesssories, weapons, etc. Extra points for being on point with the correct voice as well.

Making up your own character tends to remove this problem though.

Like I'm not going to cosplay as luke, obi-wan, anakin, or maul because I look nothing like them in the face, but I could just as easily make up a jedi or sith and have that design be cooler than those characters (though only slightly cooler than maul because lets be honest his character design is S teir).

It's always okay and fun to do but saying it looks good is just a lie. She looks nothing alike to spy family yor, and yor was made to be the slim sex appeal of the show really.

It’s really upto her, there should be no restrictions on who can and who cannot cosplay, it’s fantasy.
