70s-The War Nicaragua & The election of Ronald Raegan

80s-The Start of Grunge Rock & Gangsta Rap

90s-The Dot com bubble, The start of Y2K bands, The death of Grunge & Gangsta rap Artist (Tupac Kurt Cobain Ect……)

2000s-The Creation of the IPhone The Start of the Autotune, The Rise of YouTube , The Recession

2010s or 2020s-The Coronavirus, TikTok, Lofi becoming a mainstream music

The end of the 60’s were - Legalising abortion, legalising homosexuality over 21,

then the big one was 1971 with introduction of decimalised currency, no more shillings and pence.

End of the 1970’s first IVF and thatcher being elected as first women as Prime Minister

start of 1980s - Falklands war

End of 1980’s - Tim Berners Lee invents World Wide Web

1990 - 91 Gulf War

End of 1990’s - Good Friday Agreement, the Millennium

2012 - London Olympics

2020 Brexit and Covid

10s - Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, WWI

20s - Prohibition of alcohol

30s - the Great Depression

40s - WWII, Holocaust, Pearl Harbor bombed, Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombed

50s - Traditional gender roles, typical nuclear family with a dog and a white picket fence

60s - the Space Race, assassination of JFK, hippies

70s - Watergate, Star Wars! (Big fan)

80s - Fall of the Berlin Wall, AIDS epidemic

90s - internet becomes mainstream, dissolution of USSR

00s - 9/11, antisemitism.

10s - Osama Bin Laden assassinated, Ebola Virus, SJWs

20s - Corona Virus, use of AI becoming mainstream
