Team Rocket. Do you like them or hate them?

I swear I thought I asked this question long ago but I guess I haven't.

Anyways, many like them because they're comic reliefs and it "defines their childhood" and a lot got salty because they stopped trying to catch Pikachu in Black and White but returned to catching Pikachu later. Personally though, I find them annoying AF! Of course there are times where they can really be comic reliefs but most of the time, there's just there to make the episode longer and repetitive just for the sake of Ash having a battle in almost every episode like how they also just randomly appear like interrupting gym battles, contests and other wholesome moments. At least starting in the Sun and Moon anime, they got more meaningful screen times and no longer just interrupt every time making them tolerable.

In the original, I'd think they're poorly written but I'd still say they have some potential. I mean I like them in Sun and Moon and onwards because that's when their potentials got used properly.
